    Thumbs up

I have the Wallace SWK and love it. The only thing I would suggest is taking the time to sew down the pleats from the waist about 4 to 6 in. to keep it from flaring up too high in a strong wind and inadvertantly answering the question!

Any excuse is a good excuse for getting another kilt I've heard a lot of good things about SWK, so I feel pretty confident about the quality (for the price, I don't think you can beat it).

I'll probably have the pleats sewn down. It should make it a bit easier to iron if needed. Which reminds me . . .

I wore my USAK casual Ireland's National all day today, and no wrinkling . . . gotta love PV . . .

I considered sewing the pleats down on mine, but decided that since this was a kilt to be used for hiking it might "breathe" a bit better leaving them as is.

    SWK Wallace is here!

As I type this, I'm wearing the new Wallace economy, and it fits perfectly! I was worried it would be too long, but wearing about two inches above the umbilicus, it falls to the exact center of my knee. I love it!

You know, I have to wear mine slightly higher above the navel, but it isn't quite a regimental rise...something between the traditional wasit, and the regimental. Since I am a bit larger, this works well to hide some of the pudge. Ha ha! I have 3 SWK pieces, and would recommend them to anyone that they'd fit as a first kilt.
