Don't sweat it! You will be wearing a kilt, and, unless I am mistaken, in the company of hundreds of people who have never seen one worn before. They won't know if it is wrinkled, a proper tartan, or the proper length. The kilt itself will blind them to all details. So roll it, fold it, wad it in a ball, it won't matter. And if it is a wool kilt or a good modern material, hanging it up for an hour before wearing will probably correct most sins from packing.

I triple that remark. Wear one and roll the rest. Unless you can get your wife and kiddies to wear the other ones for you.

I wore my kilt for formal nights on my cruise to Bermuda in May. I used a kilt outfit bag for the transport. Be sure to hang up everything as soon as your bags get to your cabin to reduce the wrinkles.

I also posted about a method of getting rid of minor wrinkles in your kilt while on the ship:

Have a good time. Mine was the only kilt on my trip. Except for maybe some of the crew, I was the best dressed person on board.

In my motorcycling days and with limited space for carrying things I rolled my kilt and placed it in a ladies' nylon stocking.

When unpacked it was perfectly wearable.

The kilt of course, never tried the stocking!
