Lol...sorry for the poor grammar. Just ignore the Ph.D. on the wall behind me.
Actually I don't mind the discussion on belt loops. I know that I'm not supposed to put my belt through; they're made for to sporran strap. However, I am quite thin and don't really have much of a beer belly to keep my belt in place. Therefore, when I sit down (which I do a lot at work), I find my belt riding up above my kilt. So I started putting the belt through the loops. If somebody has a suggestion as to how I can keep my belt in place, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Same here. The belt rides up in the back after some activity unless I run it through the loops. Don't like that.
I put both through the loops as long as it doesn"t change the hang of the kilt. I like to wear a belt all the time but don't always wear a sporran if it's a casual kilt material like this kilt. The hang may change once the kilt is worn in a bit. That material is stiff but indestructable.
I like the way the pleats are without a topstitch. I know they are topstiched most of the time (even at CCK) unless stated otherwise but it proved to me it's not always the rule. I'm looking at a CCK camo 6 yrd (and a matching camo hiphugger mini for my better half) soon and may not need a topstich, I guess depending on the material. Then a CCK Black Stuart 8 yrd in PV or wool i'm not sure.
Make sure to check out the continuation of the belt loop mystery in the kilt advice section- belt loops. Seems to be a personal preference thing instead of a rule. Thats the way it shoould be. Good discussion going on though.
