You mean that "Piss Off" is not vulgar......

The response came very quickly and was said with that "Hulk" Bill Bixby style...you know, "angry, you don't want to see me when I'm angry"....

I'm sure he had something to say about the situation much later when he regained his wits....but I do have to admit, his face was indeed priceless....

It was indeed a good moment followed by another great moment bringing two people together in marriage the Scottish way.......

Where I come from that would merely be in the category of slightly off-color.

I'd agree. In my case, it's only very slightly off color. As in just enough off-color to not allow my kids to say it, but not care at all if they hear it.

I think you handled that very well Rev, you might just have saved him a beating as I doubt he'd say that again and not all of us are as restrained.

Nah it was great. There's always a way to do it with grace and aplomb. And then there's your way which it's just as effective. Some people don't think that we'll say anything back to them,.....but they're wrong.

To have that kind of compliment in his hearing right after you'd set him straight - it's a priceless moment.

Visions of Clint Eastwood in clergy garb for some western movie taking on the bad guys.

Hopefully, he wasn't too drunk to remember his most spiritual lesson in garment terminology.
