    I'd buy one.

Trés groovy. You look great. Silk or cotton?
    Silk, of course!

I get all my kimono online. eBay's a wonderful source for cheap kimono. Chuu, based out of NYC, is good, too. http://www.chuu.com/shop/list/00028/000?page=1

    Moto-ya.com is good, too. http://www.moto-ya.com/catalog/categories/23-1.htm

And of course, the most impressive thing to Japanese people is a gaijin who can put thier own kimono on.

From my experience it would be utter shock!

    Gorgeous RL.
I used to wear hakama from time to time, a very similar feeling to wearing a kilt. Comfy and powerful. Cheers for the pics.

I was born in Japan and lived almost five years on the island of Okinawa. I used to wear a short, male type of Kimono called a “happy coat”. I had a bunch of them growing up. I still have an adult sized one. It goes well with a Kilt!
