Hello from The home of the Blues, Memphis, TN
While I understand the bosses desire for a professional appearance at work, as you said, you are not in the public eye so I do not understand the resistance to kilts entirely as long as they are worn properly.

Welcome,
Thought we had another ATC thread going earlier...must have been after the change since there was a flat out prohibition of kilts.
Got me to wondering how many lives may be endangered when a male ATC is distracted from his screen to rearrange his panted bits? Kilts could be a safety feature.
Sorry the other's ruined a good thing. Sounds like you were the best dressed for a while.
Imagine you'll be looking at the UK Leather and RKilts leather for winter wear...they're amazing in cold and foul weather.

Information is what those people needed. Protests are not as effective as a communication tool as some would want them to be. With obvious rare exceptions. Too bad that those protesting the new code were in the wrong attitude. They would have been right as you seem to have been, had they Embraced the new code. And the kilt would be welcomed even now. A harsh blow to kilt acceptance.

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?
