Nice summer pictures! Ahh, warmer days great with the individual tartans

    PS
beloitpiper: "a band" is defined as a group of musicians playing together. That numerous bands choose to wear uniform clothing is their choice...

Sounds like an Indian Summer (isn't supposed to be colder than that by now?)

I love the pics. Man its been a while since I made it up to the big lake. I think we might have to put that on our list of stuff to do this summer - "Camping at Lake Superior."

Awesome pictures!! I'm going to have to show these to a bunch of my friends. Because they're the ones in the pictures! The guy in the foreground of the first picture was my Best Man, and the lad in the brown greatkilt in the second picture also stood with me. The lady to his left is the wife of my best man, she's the dance instructor, and the lass to her left is the wife of the lad in the greatkilt, who's practically my sister. She helps organize our reenactments.

I don't know much about the pipers, but the dancers are from the Marquette area. I would have been with them, but I was on my honeymoon during the 4th.

    Cheers!
    Nick
