I will never make a good politician - my sound bytes are terrible. Thanks for the better suggestion!

Colin started to say what I think. Wearing of the kilt is not a cause. If ever it becomes a cause, I'm outa here.
I am kilted (when I can be) because I want to be kilted. I shall not proselytize the un-kilted masses. When asked I'll answer and in fact will probably run off at the mouth about how great kilts are - For Me.
As for honor and respect ... Been sitting here staring at this message for quite some time. I've written and then discarded not a few sentences, all of which has shown me that those topics are far larger than I'm able to wrap my brain around at the moment. Have to go away and think on't a bit.

I do apologize about it being a cause, it was not my intention. I just used that term as it is used by those of us at the coffee shop I hang out at. Got to fight the cause, because we have to get back for coffee.
I did try to edit out the title to read "For the Good" but was unable to. Sorry again for the confusion as I merged my thoughts together.
So just think FOR THE GOOD

This past week (and until Dec 25) I have been here 12 - 14 hours a day, 7 days a week (up from our normal 10 hours a day, 7 days a week) trying to make as MANY kilts as possible in time for the holidays!

I wore my new SWK Standard (Black Stewart) to an office party today. Our department V.P. said, "You win the best-dressed award." Well, there's no such award at this party, but I'm pleased the V.P. was happy.
When it came time for a group photo, I found myself surrounded by lovely ladies who wanted their picture taken next to me. While a word to the wise is sufficient, a picture is worth a thousand XMarks business cards.

I haven't so much done anything for the good of kilting, but for the good of me and my family. Being Kilted just happens to be who I am.

Bah Humbug! If the rest of the male of the human species can't overcome their prejudices and realize why kilts are so comfortable, then I for one will welcome the lowered prices that they promote! Remember, increased demand means increased prices...
