    Your shirt + hose match well. Green+tan/beige/khaki is a hard colour combo to beat. Buzz Kidder "Rob Roy" sporran is what that looks like to me, and by my experiences, a solid choice. I must be the odd one out in not caring so much for the Irish National... dunno... the green is just a little too bright for my liking. Could also be the light... I tend to like the darker, more "forest" green tones if there is going to be green... of course, that could be a bias creeping out, as I like the Gordon modern...which has a rich, dark green in it.

    All in all, well coordinated. I wish I could match so well... my matching usually cosists of black hose w/black shirt... not the hardest matching to do.

    Thanks for the explanation James. Actually, I rather like it although I suppose it might be confused with "Greatgrandfather.

    Unfortunately, I was not privileged to have known either of my grandfathers - both died before I was born and I never got to hear anything about them from my parents or grandmothers.
