Thanks for sharing! I noticed the wrinkle factor in my AmeriKilt as well . . . not a favourite feature:rolleyes: But It's still a comfy kilt and I get compliments on it whether it's wrinkled or not. I even had the chance to hand out a couple of AK business cards when a couple blokes expressed interest in getting AK's of their own.

The kilt is here to stay, brothers!

Excellent maiden voyage for a new kilt. As others have said, if you exude confidence and aren't self conscious about wearing a kilt, it will be a very positive experience.

I don't think that I ever got a negative response to my kilt. Of course I am very ugly and mean looking, and don't mind fighting at the drop of a hat. {ooops... darn thing won't stay on my head...} Glad to hear that you had a positive experience. Sounds like the future wife doesn't mind you in a kilt, either. Congratulations! She sounds like a keeper.

Oh no, she absolutly loves the kilts. She didnt like the idea of the solid color kilt at first, but I just kinda met her at the mall with it on, it was the first time she had seen it. She really liked it a lot. I wear tartan kilts out with her all the time though, she loves them all, specially my Drummond of Perth Modern tank.
