Who knew it wasn't just a style for a tie? It is actually a district tartan. Part of my lineage is a Caldwell which inhabited that area. We could not find a Clan, but found a district tartan. I really would like to buy the clergy one to fit for the ministry related things I will do. Now that I have had it a couple of days, I really like wearing it. May it's just the "newness" (if that's a word).

    Thanks for the encouraging comments.

I like the look Padre, very sharp.

Waiting to hear the tartan too.

Very nice. Please give our best to the lad, and tell him we want to see his kilt next. (Hint: for a growing boy, you can get some yardage and make a great kilt that'll grow with him so you won't have to pop for a new kilt every six months!)

You wear it well. I'm sure it would go over well at services.
