I am new to being "kilted" I get the pleats to the back part but there is a world of other things I and other newbies might need or want to know about kilts and wearing them properly, parts of the kilt, formal and informal wear etc. etc.etc to infinity
Just set aside about 8 hours and look through the do's and don'ts thread and then got to show us your pictures and look through the top three threads of pictures - formal, dressy and casual. You'll get the whole idea. It comes to you eventually. I made my fair share of mistakes and I'm starting to correct myself. Congratulations on joining the rabble.
Great article, Matt. I feel kind of silly, though...I've been kilted for 25 years and I learned a couple of things from that article that I probably should have already known! Oh, well. At least I know that the pleats go to the south, so I'm doing okay, I s'pose.
