It's hit us here down under too, really bad, very sad.
The families affected are in our prayers.
I think Australians (and especially Tasmanians) are reminded of our own shooting tragedy at Port Arthur, it's still fresh in our minds.
I fail completely to understand what drives people to do this.

A terrible tragedy, Scotland is stunned by the magnitude of this event. My sympathies are with the families of the deceased.

unfortunatley one of my friends who I spent two years with at military school was not so lucky and was a victim at VT. his name is matt LaPorte and I hope to attend his memorial service this friday at carson long military institute in new bloomfield PA at 3:05pm. may our prayers go out to all those affected.
