The outfit looks great Chris. I'd probably swap the white flashes for a red pair or some other color in the kilt (other than green ) But it's a good look. Now the fun of mixing casual shirts and shoes with the kilt begins It's amazing how versatile a kilt is. From Black tie wedding to casual days at the lake the kilt accommodates it all. Enjoy!
Indeed you are right. Matt is getting me some claret flashes which really should work well with this. I did also pick up both black and off-white Lewis hose and black flashes, so I'm on the way to a nice mix and matching. I also have some fantastic greenish long socks (I hesitate to really call them hose, but I suspect hose is really a generic term) that will work well scrunched with hiking boots and casual brown shoes.
The problem with sizing an image up is that you'll get pixelation, because the information to make it larger just isn't in the smaller image. But, from what I can see of the wee images you've posted, it's a fine kilt, and you look good in it.
