    Well, if anyone wanted an X-Marks tartan kilt and would be happy with a box-pleat that was hemmed, here's your chance to put one together for not much money. If I was on a budget, I'd do it!

    In fact, that's so cheap (they will add on about $20 for shipping) that I'm thinking of buying 2 meters and banging one out real quick for......well, it's a secret.

    Thanks, Wompet, for he link. That's one sorry looking selvedge. I suggest hemming from the freshly split edge which allows ignoring the bad edge. Then we just need to decide where the hem will appear on the pattern.

    That might lead to lots of questions at a SOKS meet on the lines of; "Do you all belong to a pipe band?" Depending on who's asking, that could be an opening gambit.

    I have no problem working with wool, they will have to wait because the word came down that the Maple Leaf will be here this week i have been given a tracking number which I have been keeping my eye on. It looks like it will be here in the begining of the week.Didn't meran to take over the thread if you want me to make up your kilt in the Xmarks tartan you provide the fabric, I do the rst let me know so I can make up a schedule for you all

    I figure everyone just order their own tartan and if they want me to sew it up send it to me or comeover to my place get measured and have a dram

    Was thinking that since material needs to be split and bulk postage might be cheaper. Also considering that one sw goes to Europe. Any takers?
