In fact, that's so cheap (they will add on about $20 for shipping) that I'm thinking of buying 2 meters and banging one out real quick for......well, it's a secret.

Thanks, Wompet, for he link. That's one sorry looking selvedge. I suggest hemming from the freshly split edge which allows ignoring the bad edge. Then we just need to decide where the hem will appear on the pattern.

That might lead to lots of questions at a SOKS meet on the lines of; "Do you all belong to a pipe band?" Depending on who's asking, that could be an opening gambit.

I have no problem working with wool, they will have to wait because the word came down that the Maple Leaf will be here this week i have been given a tracking number which I have been keeping my eye on. Was thinking that since material needs to be split and bulk postage might be cheaper. Also considering that one sw goes to Europe. Any takers?
