Interesting. I think I'm missing the "kitchen connection" though.
No kitchen connection. It fits a standard size belt and the kitchen kilt has small loops. The two people on the buckle are "Tristan und Isolde". I just thought it was nice. The price was right: FREE! Got it from an old friend. The belt loop on the back has been replaced with a thick piece of brass stock. I'll gat pics of the "whole onsam" {yeah I know it's misspelled} when I have time to iron the pleats.
I've got Drill tomorrow.
Cool buckle, Sim. Is that other stuff part of your collection? Looks like a DeMolay sword in the back.

Oooh! I like it! I'm not one for celtic knotwork. I prefer Victorian looking waist plates, with sprays of thistles or Shamrocks, but that was before I saw this!
Though seeing as the two people on the buckle are Tristan & Isolde, I would've thought the buckle would be round!

Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!
