Nice concept. Centered on the upper back, with the clan creast at the base of your neck would be a great idea...make the entire piece about 10 inches tall.

I have to agree with Furrycelt. It's an great looking design, but given that a chest and stomach can have more curves with the ribs and all, I think this would work better on the back. The top of the clan badge could just touch the nape of the neck and than shoulder to shoulder.

Just my 2 cents. Again, cool design. That's going to coast a pretty penny. Ar eyou thinking colour or black and grey to start?

I had something similar planned to cover the old one on my chest, but my wife (who'll be doing the job) has convinced me to leave the lions & belt out of it, & just get the stag & crown. That way the antlers can wrap around my neck & cover the tattooed chain. All I need to work out is how to avoid the memorium to my daughter that's over my heart. And how to work up the courage to do my chest again!

God, isn't that the TRUTH!?!?! I've got an old crapper heart on my chest I need to do something with. But, the thought of having my chest done detours me.

Oh Beloit, I've gotta say, I still think it would make a FINE front piece. I personally think it would work great there rather than the back.

I have been sitting on the fence on the next tattoo, I have a sun on one side of my chest and a moon an the other side it took me about 3 years to get the moon though. I also have a coy on my left ribs and have been holding off on getting an oriental dragon on the other side, but that is what I would like one day I will but it will probably be a little while yet.

Beloit, as far as the back or front question goes, it's your tattoo, get it where you want.
