Welcome aboard. Did anyone mention that as part of your joining dues, you must send a bottle of mead to every member of elder status or greater?

you know... I would have been more than happy to do just that... EXCEPT, ever since 9/11 fedex and UPS check all packages, and since I dont have a license to sell or distribute, I can't ship it across state lines. sigh... the good ole days when I could mark it as a yeast sample in a nutrient solution...
of course, once I get another batch brewed and bottled, I'd be more than happy to share that or my beer with anyone in the Atlanta metro area

Hmmm
Step one.. I'll be doing that often...
steps 2 and 3... probably won't happen.. seeing how I prefer modern kilts and even the SWKs I want, I would be wearing with my hiking boot and flashes would and hose would look weird with those..
Step 4... I think I'd like to make one of those... have I mentioned I'd cheap...
Step 5... I have one I have thought about using... my badge from when I served as a military police officer...
steps 6 and 7... don't see a fly plaid in my future... and what's wrong with my leather duster I had made while in turkey?
step 8... Oooooo pointy sharp things... I likes pointy sharp things...
Step 9.. I have shoes..well... boots... manly boots...that goes well with my kilts and I paid a small fortune for them in 1990 so I plan on wearing them til I die or they rot... which ever comes first (Gortex insulated Matahorn boots..) and my desert combat boots from my trip the big sand box during the first gulf war
step 10.. I'm working on it.. although my wife doesn't think I can sew... I can..and can do it quiet well.. I don't want her to think otherwise since it makes her feel special
step 11... I'm here all day long
step 12... rinse repeat...go it

OK, here has been my plan:
Step 1. Buy kilt with sporan
Step 2. Buy old police belt
Step 3. Make your own oak sgian dugh
Step 4. Resurrect your old soccer socks and use them as kilt hose
Step 5. Use your old wing tip shoes as Ghillie's
Step 6. Learn to make a kilt
Step 7. Make your kilt
Step 8. Modify your tail coat to a PC jacket
Step 9. Repeat step 7 ... until you can't feel your sewing finger...
Oh yea, and make kilts for your brothers when the find out you are making kilts.

Belt loops are for sporrans only. I make my kilts without any belt loops and if they are made properly, you only need a belt for ornamental reasons.
As for another belt, I use a army utility belt.
