Wow! That's more than enough alcohol to kill most people. Would be like someone drinking twenty 12 ounce beers a day for four days in a row...and unlikely it was low alcohol beer.
My liver hurts for him.
American Medical Association figures that more than four beers a day for a male is binge drinking. Pretty scary.
The article got my attention because I used to binge drink like that, just used mescal or rum instead to avoid so many trips to the rest room. But the result for me was similar eye problems and withdrawal seizures.

Ah, the good old college days. . . the beer and pizza diet with a side of doritos. It's remarkable what the body can tolerate, especially at age 18-20. I wouldn't want to have the six month hangover that accompanied this poor fellow's binge.

The correct diagnosis in this case is SCOS or "Severe Coagulation of Stooopid." The blood thinning treatment and eventual successful outcome is the key element. He is still stooopid, Only now his blood and eyesight are back to pre-binge drinking levels.
And as for being one of the rabble? "Ohh, I hope not!"
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

I think I read an article a few years ago where some tried to survive on only Guinness but I'm not sure if that was an urban legend or not. They said he survived for about a week. "Rumor" has it that he died after it. I don't know if any of that is true or not but I wouldn't put it past someone to try.
