I prefer the old addage "Women, you can't live with 'em and you can't shoot 'em."
But, if you weren't planning on getting married kilted, here's your perfect excuse! Just claim that your tuxedo is too close to what your ex's husband got married in, so you're gonna need a DIFFERENT, NEW TANK!!
Worth a shot!

My ex is the same exact way...which is part of why she's my ex.

Good luck on this one, mate. Maybe you can offer to spend the weekend taking her around wedding stores so she can pick just the right dress?

interesting. . .
if two guys show up in the same "skirt" then they are brothers
if two girls show up in the same skirt they are enemies
good luck with that.

Laddie, you have only just started to learn. As Daz says, better learn to nod and say "Yes Dear"! If she is like my wife that will satisfy her to a point. A warning though as the years go by she will start to get annoyed with it and she will let you know she has figured out what your doing. They hate that!

Rule one: Don't be looking up pictures of your ex when you have a fiancee.
Rule two: Don't tell this one, anything about that one. That includes showing them pictures.
Applications of these two rules could have saved you a lot of grief. More grief than you know, because not only do you have to deal with her looking for a new dress, but she's wondering why you were looking at her myspace in the first place. You're going to pay for that too. Maybe not now, but wait until you have an argument.

I'll be married 17 years this December. She still hasn't figured out that I can't read minds (and now I have a 13 year old daughter who I am trying to explain this concept to).
Good Luck!
