Hmm, that sounds awesome. Why does that last photo make me feel as if I'm kneeling in front of the Tropical Smoothie Cafe??

Hey, it was good meeting people in person and hearing the music. I kinda wish they'd worked in more traditional sets, because I think it shows their talent more clearly, but it was definately a good show!

If there's another kilt night let me know. I'll try and drag out my old roommate and his Royal Stewart (or Stuart). And this time I'll know what you all look like, so I can say hey before the band's getting tuned up.

I totally agree with this. While the Band was good without question it was the more traditional tunes that they played which were the highlight of the show for me. And the gentlemen on the fiddle was amazing!

All together a great time; thanks to Mael for putting this together. i look forward to more kilt nights and kilted activities in the future with you gentlemen.

Man, I love 7N- especially now that they have a full time piper back in the band. They just haven't been the same since Neil Andersen left them after Big Dog. The Factory was good, but just not the same. Last time I saw them was Labor Day. They sounded better than they have in years! I was a little bummed that Kirk never broke out a kilt, though. Have fun, guys! I want pics!!

EDIT- just read a little closer. How was the show? Anything off of Rain And Thunder?

I concur with the previous posts the trad segments stole the show. The fiddler and piper were awesome. Kurt and the lads were in jeans. In fact, the only kilts to be seen were on the XMarkers!
