Great photos, I too wish it were warm enough for something like that here. I may be wrong but the band looks like they are wearing the Scottish National tartan, of course Toronto is just about as far away as Northern Michigan, so who knows really. I do now that Sir Daniel is wearing the Muted Gunn and I think it looks wonderful.

Thanks, actually it's the ancient Gunn ... but it is the Gunn tartan which is the important recognition.

The band here in John's photo is the Duncan McCall Pipe Band, a Grade 4 band from Pensacola and that is the Duncan tartan they are wearing.
