Where "human anatomy" was showing in several pictures, within the undergarment section.
Interesting.

Hey someone at the company had to sign off before printing - I think the proper penalty is for the company to send all active XMarks members a free kilt of their choice.

Mine has not arrived in the mail yet. I met the gentleman who is the head kilt maker there,he is a retried Scottish military kilt maker. I bet he will be rather upset when he sees the catalogue!!

I expect that he won't be the only one gnashing teeth about this....It makes them come off as ignorant, even though they aren't.
Ranks right up there with a web site here in the US that rents kilts and had proudly posted pictures of their satisfied customers. One of the pictures actually had a gentleman wearing one of their rental kilts with the pleats in the front. I sent an email to them suggesting that maybe it didn't reflect well on them to have posted that photo in a collection of their fine work. Last time I looked, it wasn't up any longer.

The "Editor" of the catalogue needed a picture to fill a page. So, the picture was flipped. I noticed it when the kilt pin was on the wrong side of the apron. I notice these things because my father was a printer. He examined every printed product that he ever handled. It nust be hereditary. My job often takes me to printing plants. I always check the registry marks on the sheets. We flipped a yearbook photo in the ad section of my High School yearbook. The owner of the shop was livid and to this day, will not advertise in the yearbook. Yes, I am Picky, picky ,picky.

I have received the catalog today (in rather bad shape). While I disagree with the rotating of the picture I do want to point out that there are some really good and different photos in this catalog. How often have you seen men in kilts and wearing Wellingtons? The other photos show men in kilts doing very normal things for men, holding hands with the girlfriend/wife, etc. I can't think of another catalog that has done so well in making me feel that men in kilts are just plain right.
