Wonderful to see you working on a self-color kilt. The first kilt I made was self-color and I wear it frequently, especially for hiking in the cold weather. Best of luck with your project.

That is lovely fabric... of course I am not seeing it in kilt form in my head, I must not be fully converted just yet.

so today i noticed that im missing about five pleats on each side, im missing about half meter of fabric because i did the math wrong, the good thing is a still have about two meter of fabric, so im cutting the kilt in the middle to put more fabric in and more pleats so tthis project is taking longe than i planned no biggie i have time to do it haha

haha, glad you have the time and fabric to fix that!
I'm sure if you hide the join in the pleats you won't be able to tell at all.
