    If I understand the situation there's no problem with wearing the kilt, but don't even consider carrying a bow and arrows while in York.

    As to Latin, I am eternally grateful to my parents for insisting that I study Latin; I would otherwise never have learned English grammar.

    In was kilted in York for 3 days last May and survived - so no need to panic, just don't carry a bow and arrow while kilted!
