Wow, I've never seen those ones with large lion pattern before! Great pics.

Very interesting, I never cease to be amazed at what I learn on this forum. I now know where my two pair of Hawick Hose were manufactured. They really have some nice looking kilt hose there.

How very interesting! Another great series of photos. Thanks for posting them.
The down side is that the more you post, the less need I feel to go to Scotland. Your pix make one feel as if they are already there.

Well, I can see my bank account is going to be "hosed!"

OK, I'm sold. Where can I find a very large (read that as a size 14 US shoe) pair of those tartan hose with the read and white stripes? They would look really good with my Robertson kilt.

Thanks for taking us along. Surprised to see the machines work on the flat and not circular. It appears very noisy there - was it?

How cool Alex. Thanks for documenting your tour. Very meaningful to me since I already have TWENTY pair of their Lewis hose in ten colors and three of their traditional garter tie dealies.
I've been VERY impressed with the quality and feel of their Lewis hose. I know I don't have to hand wash them, but I choose to. Respect.

Alex, Thank you for the tour.
I can see where some of my bank balance will be depleted. They have a fleet of Shima Seiki machines. Very precision and usually a lot quieter than their U.S. competitors. Top shelf machines for top shelf products!
