The thread about how many kilts ? got me to thinking.

I don't have any trouble giving hundreds of dollars for a kilt, made from wool, built by hand.

But when it comes to shirts, I am a thrift store shopper. There, I said it. I bought nearly all the shirts I own at GoodWill or Salvation Army thrift stores. Now there are a few exceptions, but not many. I have scored some very expensive and nice stuff for very little money this way. Of course there is the time to peruse the racks, and if you count time, then it is not inexpensive at all. I think I like them because they group things by color first.

Anyone else have this duality/schizophrenia about their spending habits ?
