    OCH! I played trumpet in grade school. Same fingering as the baritone, it is! I used to make fun of woodwind players, but no more now, being the diligent piper. ON PARADE, mind! Tout, a drummer and a piper, you must be out of your heid for sure!

    Yeah, well we clarinet players made fun of you trumpet players too. ;-) I played some percussion in high school as well. But I mostly stick to tin whistles now. Nothing that could be heard over the pipes.

    i started out as trumpet as well and now i play baritone TC, i couldnt play on the small mouth piece.

    well i am a drummer but its not marching drums its the drum kit but i could possibly play marching if i wanted to.

    I do think a piccolo can cut through anything.

    Personally started on trombone switched to Bassoon took all the classes to get a Teaching degree in Instrumental and vocal music. Now learning the English horn (which is really french if I remember right).
