Jamie, the hat is missing one crucial element to make the entire ensemble work.... A rather large ostrich feather in the helmet!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

You know, with Jamie's facial hair...

Of course, he'll need to start carrying copies of Plato and Aristotle around with him wherever he goes, and wear a raw onion around his neck.

How about copies of Doyle and Rostand and we make that a cocktail onion?
I looked up General Orde Wingate and all I can say is what a colorful individual! (Nice photograph though)
Cheers

What fun Jamie!
I'll not wish you a Happy Birthday yet because I know you and I share the same date for that anniversary - not the year, just the date!
Now, if anyone should try to take the pith, I know you'll be able to handle the situation!!!
Take care,
Ham.
