Both are nice, but the German Heritage is what's on my list. Mainly because my German line is Palatine German and they settled in Canada, not the U.S. So figured honor the old country. But each to their own.

Cousin, seriously, we might be related....
I'm torn. I really like the German Heritage, but the German American has that white line that just pops. That's the one thing drawing me to it.

I will say that the German Heritage is a very nice tartan up close and personal.... I was fortunate to see the one that Bobbie is modeling here at Kilt Kamp.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

re
This is my alltime favorite, but was realizing I use my kilts for highland games. I don't think many people want to be using the wool kids on a 100 degree day. I wish they had this or the american heritage pattern in a polyester type of material.
I should just stick to the basics like blackwatch, but I just have to be different than everyone else.

Thanks Rocky! I figured you would reply on that one. I'm slowly building the funds to accumulate a kilt or two from you.
