It was great to get together with the gang for such a pleasant afternoon.

Here is an interesting article from the SF Gate (The San Francisco Chronicle's online identity) about Absinthe and the St. George Distillery

    http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl.../MNQJTO9FM.DTL

    I find this picture disturbing

It reminds me of this...thing that Freelander Sporrano has in one of his secret laboratories

When I asked him what it was he just laughed and said "one day you and the whole world will know..."

    Cheers

    Jamie

The single malt is quite nice. A bit of a bourbon flavor. Quite smooth and very drinkable for the price. As I recall, it was $45 for a typical 750 ml bottle.

Hanger One, St. George Spirits? No, MythBusters here that I know of. (but it sure would explain a lot)

Oh', you mean decommissioned Alameda Naval Air Station?
    That is their claim.

What a great set (or two) of photos of what certainly appeared to be a fun and an interesting visit.

    Take care,
    Ham.
