1930 Edinburgh hallmarks should be:

castle, thistle and z

The "925", "sterling" or "sterling silver" are hardly ever used in combination with hallmarks, because they repeat what the hallmarks say already.
No makers mark is odd.

I think (part of) the silverwork might be a repair job.

When the sheath is made of leather bound wood and the (probably ebony) handle is in good shape....this sgian is worth between £250 - £400.

Please don't polish the blade...this will reduce the value dramaticly
