I welcome all the feedback. I did search under heritage of scotland, only came to a post about the shipping frustrations with Frugal kilts. The information provided about Gold Bros makes sense "you get what you pay for". I don't believe any customs were due. Are all the polyviscose kilts extremely flammable? Aren't some of the Stillwater and USA kilts made of the same material? Regarding the manufacturing location for the kilts I thought I read that Stillwater kilts are also manufactured in Pakistan.

I like USA kilts a lot and Rocky was very quick with answers. With the issues regarding Gold Bros, which manufacturers make good wool kilts that are also somewhat reasonable in price?

    Thanks for the great responses.

    William

Hello and welcome from Houston, TX! So far, I have just the 7 traditional woolen Scottish kilts, I'm afraid. But, I'm happy with them.

    Cead mille failte!

You'll have to join us sometime for a pint at the Dubliner then....

I'd strongly recommend you skip over the Sport Kilts and go directly to the Stillwaters, at least. While they're certainly not tanks, they're a great value for the outlay.

I didn't have any negative comments about my Stillwaters when I was in Scotland - just a lotta "Lukin' guid!"
