Welcome to the forum from Northern Colorado! I was in Bruges in 2003, wore my kilt the entire week in Belgium, nary a single negative comment. At least, not any said where I could overhear! (Yay Fantome! One of the best Saison's in the WORLD!)

I'll be in Belgium next week, don't think I can make it to Bruges though. Could have given you a bit of moral support. You should take Werewolves suggestion further re: beer but soup up the anti-kilties on a Talisker 10 or a Cragganmore 12. They'll all be wearing kilts by the end of the night!!

Welcome Patrick, very nice to see you here, and the last time I was in brugges , I wasn't aware of any unfriendlyness, although I suppose I should have said hello to that man in the clothes shop!!
