One SMALL clarification... it's Purple, DARK purple (almost black, but actually purple) and white. It's a very popular tartan. You wear it well, Ron.

Ron, try photographing it at dusk, back lit, with a flash. You need a better balance of light from the surroundings and reflecting off the kilt at the same time. ... Though Phil might be able to explain it better.
