I hear ya. I have to admit it took me a while to braid the first set I made. Getting the braid to stay the same tightness all the way through and all that. But with that Wonder Knitter gadget it was a breeze.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

    1. go to a fabric store
    2. get some gray felt or lenci material
    3. get some iron-on stiffening material
    4. get some 3/4" or 1" elastic
    5. go home and cut the felt/lenci to the length you want your flashes
    6. iron-on the stiffening material
    7. cut elastic to length
    8. hand sew the flashes to the elastic.
    9. hand sew the elastic into a loop or add some velcro
    10. enjoy your new gray flashes.

    works with any color.

    1. Go online.
    2. Search for kilt flashes.
    3. Purchase
    4. Wait (or not, if I order from stillwater)

    Jaeson,

Please post a picture of your Hamilton Gray kilt after you get it.

I would also be interested in a review of the casual tartan kilts that TKN sells.
