    Tony,

My wife says you need to give her dog back. ; )

Your pup Zeus is a dead ringer for our 57-variety Biscuit!

He's my boy... all 170lbs of him!
Stays by my side, all the time, and inspects my work.

Biscuit seems to be (mainly) boxer and Lab, but who knows what her lineage is.

<back on topic> She could probably wear any tartan she wished to.

    nearing completion

    The dirk is nearly completed.
I re-did the scabbard in a brown sheepskin leather, and added a tassel... just 'cause I wanted to.

Ripley, as eldest dog, gives his blessing:

    On my keyboard, for scale:

Are they accurate, in any way? Probably not. I made them to two criteria:
    1. My own aesthetics.
    2. What a rustic Scot might make, with whatever he found laying around.

I kept the black leather scabbard, that came with the sgian... it can't be seen once tucked into hose/moc, anyway.

I'm also making a "sgian-don't", antler-handled bottle opener. Will post pix when complete.

Cool! I actually like the tassel. Kinda ancient-looking.
