    Looking at this from a pipers point of view, I would never wear it because it would get SO INCREDIBLY hot.

    Looking at it from a kilt-wearer's point of view...well...see Jock Scot's comment above.

    I like the leather one! I'd wear that for casual or semi formal wear. I think it looks great! coming from a metalhead's point of view. That would look killer with an Iron Maiden t shirt under it.

    I can't seem to find the right website. Where is it?

    I'm with Marshal - when's someone gonna make a sharp looking doublet for us beer belly guys??

    Maybe can't be done.

    Don't know the big difference between a leather doublet and the bazillions of leather jackets that are sold...think the temp factor would be similar.
