Judging by the photos, the title of the thread should be "Hospital couldn't keep the MacKinnon Red in Bed." Get well soon, and take care.

Good luck with everything -- I hope you feel much better now *hugs to you*!
You look excellent -- probably one of the best-dressed patients they've ever seen. I'm sure they enjoyed seeing your kilt and hearing the pipes. Thanks so much for sharing the photos with us, and best wishes to you and your family!

What I want to know is why got got to keep your clothes and didn't have to wear one of those stupid little hospital gowns that always open in the wrong spot?

That's because the kilt is superior to all other forms of clothing.
Take good care of yourself and get well soon.

Robert,
I am so sorry to learn of your health problem and I wish you a speedy return to your old life - diet allowed for. Back in February, I put myself on a strict(ish) diet because I had many kilts I could no longer get into - glad to say I can now fit into most of them, but it was not easy (nor does it remain so!).
Please take care,
Ham.

Robert,
I hope what caused the hospital visit isn't serious, and that it's something a change in the way you eat can fix.
If your spirits and actions when you're down and ill are any indication of how you handle tough times, nothing's ever going to stop you!
Take care,
Christopher

Robert, you are on the right side of a stomach ailment, my friend -- recovery. And reasonable weight-loss wouldn't hurt most of us, thank you for leading the way. Slainte.
