do they still hold the games if it is raining?

As far as I know. I am planning on going no matter what, for me that means leaving at oh-dark-early, sometime around 6:00 AM. I have attended other Highland games in the past at other places where the weather was miserable, and they went on. One I remember well, the caber as well as some of the other equipment won, though. According to the latest weather forecast, it is supposed to be clearing by afternoon. So for me, it is still a go.

The Weather channel says rain Friday, then a 20% chance of rain Saturday - am clouds, pm sun, 70degrees.

Probably a fine soft day.

yep.. rain doesn't stop a Highland Games... it just means good ole Scottish Weather has blessed us. or cursed us. Take your pick.

Ack! *Frowns* I have to be honest.. with the weather there is a chance that I won't make it. I'm just not that anxious to be cold and wet. Plus I'm looking to the future. I'm going to Toronto, Canada during the Thanksgiving Holidays. IT's going to be awesome. But if it's not too bad, I might show. It's a wait and see.

Well if I'm there.. I'll be the girl wearing more than likely black with long hair down to my waist. And I won't have a home tent.. If MacMoose is there and see's me he'll be able to point me out as we have met before at these events.
