Do you plan to wear the kilt just for special occasions, or are you looking to wear it more frequently?

Both.

At first this was bought for this wedding as a favor to the Bride and Groom (hence the Clerical Tartan), I always thought I could sell it. However, after falling down this rabbit hole I rather like it, so I am actually thinking of buying another for immediate use, and then saving up for a more formal Woolen kilt in a Lindsay Tartan. Oh no, canna go back now!
