I don't know why Contemporary Kilt makers can't keep the apron simple.

I agree with you completely. When I first saw this thing, I thought they had installed a zipper in the apron. That would simplify things.

Reviewed their site and their products and they didn't appeal to me.
But that is only my opinion and not ment to influence others decisions.

If their item availability and customer services pan out, then I hope that they sell a million -- the more kilts the better!
But my own Contemporary Kilt preferences run against apron snaps or studs etc. My choices over time have been solid SK’s in poly/cotton and AK’s special-ordered without snaps.

Hey!! I like those!! I never cared much for Utilikilts, I love my Amerikilt, and those are only slightly more expensive than an AK. I may have to get me one in the new year. Thanks for posting the link!

Eh... these don't do much for me. Maybe I'm missing something, but I really don't get the braille thing.

Still a UK guy, but I will be getting an ApocoKilt and an AlphaKilt.
These aren't bad, but not my thing. I'll go with Alpha for a Hoosier kiltmaker.

The return address for exchanges is a PO Box in Dayton, Ohio. I am in Dayton but not aware of this contemporary kilt maker.
