    Good on you! It is always a pleasure to see people dress up to the occasion!

    Just a matter of taste on my part, I personally do not care for the wing collared shirt on anything less than the traditional "soup and fish" level. (Just the way I was brought up, I guess).

    It was made by my tailor and is sort of like a PC coatee, but can be worn buttoned up. It has a stand up collar. In some ways it resembles a "Kenmore" doublet. I can wear it belted or not. I like the versitility of this doublet because when it is warm (which it certainly is in Kentucky for much of the year!) it can be worn open, with or without a waistcoat, or buttoned.

    It is made of green velvet.
