    I took the idea of it being right handed to be that the buckle and strap are on the right side of the sporran as you look down on it whilst wearing it. Though I honestly don't think that it's any harder to open left-handed

    I like it.

    It has just enough to draw you eye but not so much that it might overpower an outfit.

    It would be great to see it in action if you get a chance!

    Very nice! I would like to see it with some antiqued hardware rather than the chrome though. Still a very nice looking sporran!

    Is the closure held together by velcro in your example?

    Yes they do have quite alot of very contemporary stuff on there. Though my personal preference is for this one which manages to blend old and new so well

    And yes mine is velcro, the strap coming foward through the buckle and back on itself as in the picture in the original post.
