So, what's the best way to get coffee of your monitor screen and keyboard? After seeing the sock puppets version of "The Address to a Haggis", there must be half a cup all over everything.

Just marvelous! You all do know how to have a good time.
I'm in full pre-trans-Atlantic flight panic mode. With any luck on Thursday @ 3:00 PM BST I'll be knocking on the door of Ferintosh needing a shower so I don't stink and ready for the obsurd hijinks that ARE a Ferintosh Burns Weekend.
Me and my lovely Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess
Sinbad and Xena in their finest
The Black Knight escorting my Mother-in-law
My very dear friends Shannon and John (John is Andrew Lenz's brother and between Andrew and I we clad John in suitable attire for this evening. He looked great in a kilt and his lovely wife wore Star's matching Black Stewart sash -kudos to Jerry V as both kilt and sash are from him. This was John's first time wearing a kilt and I think he looked rather smart in one! )
Ashley and Xena (heart breakers in training)
Monkey@arms and the lovely Cynthia
Monkey@arms and walkerk
Alan H. and the return of "Clad in Midnight Joan" (with a splash of green for fun!)
way2fractious took "prom photos" of all attending
The F-H.C.A.G. recites "John Barleycorn
More to come...
-See it there, a white plume
Over the battle - A diamond in the ash
Of the ultimate combustion-My panache
Fly plaid errors or just trying to appropriately frame a Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess?
Two Pipers! (Notice that wee Xena is running for cover and trying to save her hearing)
One of my favorite memories from the evening ...
The Black Knight reciting " A Red Red Rose "
Poor fellow had to follow the incomparable F-H.C.A.G. ! Who wouldn't be a bit intimidated? He had a strong start but had a fumble in his lines and couldn't finish the poem....
BUT!
....it happened that PiperGeorge thought he remembered the poem and he and The Black Knight went and recited " A Red Red Rose " together.
George remembered the parts that Andrew had trouble with, and Andrew remembered the bits that George had forgotten! To me this performance illustrated not only just real courage for Andrew having another go at it, but also the wonderful fellowship that exists among the Nor Cal Rabble and all of the members of X Marks the Scot.
Bravo Andrew and George!

You know that fellow down the street that is always tinkering with his hot rod or Harley? Bagpipes apparently are a bit like that (AndrewLenzJr and PiperGeorge)
Demolay 1310 and good friend Vicky
bunchdescendant and the lovely Chris
Gwenlass and friend (a piper and kilt maker!) show off their best Highland dance moves
My father and I (I am so delighted he could be part of this evening)
Sometimes it is very, very good to be Panache
(Will somebody in the SOKS please try to explain the whole "women wanting to be near the dashing kilted man thing" to Grant please. )
I have more pictures but will wait until some more of the Nor Cal Rabble have a chance to contribute theirs.
Cheers
Jamie
