Yeah, the economy has us in a bit of a bind. But that's becoming a common story all over. Business is really slow right now. Things will pick up- I'm looking at this as an opportunity to reorganize.

So- I decided to get it pleated to the sett.
Should look real nice, we of course expect pictures. Your pulling the trigger on the Colorado, and a moment of weakness, caused me to pull the trigger on the B & S ancient Lindsay (clan tartan, first tartan directly realated to my surname) which I had been drooling over for a while. On top of that I bought some fabric for Chasem to create a 4 yard box, so this last week has diminshed my reserves as well. We will both be in the same boat, broke but looking fantastic!

Take a look at my website now, some major changes. I just qouted my 6th wedding for the season; and it only February! I'm working on SuperBowl goodies, but I'll send you some marketing advice to see if we can replace some of that lost income.

It may be a variant, but it looks to "green"...

I thought so, too. I was told by Scotweb that it's because of the program that they use to generate the virtual swatch.

The swatch at the end of that first link is blindingly bright, kind of a "Bright Skye" Colorado.

The second is to muted even more so than the second link.

Here is the tartan in the real world and even that photo [me BTW] looks brighter than real life here in my living room for reference.

I had thought about getting it pleated to the gold stripe and even asked them to do it after I had placed the initial order but they ignored/ did not get/ overrule me and I have loved it pleated to the sett. I am guessing that Nighthawk loves it to as he has ordered one ith:

Isn't that one of the photos that I took? Yeah, I decided that I like it that way. I didn't realize that was how yours was pleated, but I do like it.

I don't know if this has been touched upon, or if it would work. Have you considered setting to the purple stripe? That might look pretty cool. Then again, I'm biased toward purple, so disregard my advise as free and worth every penny!

There you go, Hawk, hang in there.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

If you're trying to decide which stripe to pleat to, and you can't decide, you really can't go wrong with pleating to the sett.
