Well Cynthia I took a detailed look and can't find your pin in the Dallas/Fort Worth area - the only lass showing is RowdyRed in Bedford.

Nor can I find you on the members list.

I can invite you if you PM me with an email address and that might hopefully solve your problem - and anyone else that may be having difficulty too!

All I am getting from the link is a blank white rectangle below an advert for Las Vegas - and I have tried it several times!

But, like Jock, I usually have problems with things like this - especially where sticking pins in on-line maps is concerned!

    Take care,
    Ham.

The map seems top have lost me, too. It recognizes my name, but I can't even get my pin to come up on the map even when I get the scale to where I'm looking at my roof (though I can tell the picture is several years old). Maybe it's just not up to speed right now, I can't seem to find anybody else either. Map might need a little tweaking.

I'm on there too now... Jock, it's easier than uploading pictures to X-Marks.

Move the yellow pin by entering a location (eg. Lancashire)
Enter a name (eg. English Bloke)
    Enter a valid email address
Upload an image from your hard drive (best to resize one down first and have it ready before you start.)
Add a short statement (eg. John from Lancashire, England.)
    Click 'Add Me' button.
    Done... Doddle

Hamish, You probably need to upgrade your existing version of Adobe Flash Player. You should have version 10 installed and you can get the upgrade from the Adobe website here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I haven't had any problems (once I got version 10 of Adobe Flash Player to work) and English Bloke has summoned up the procedure for registering on the map very well.

All I can suggest for those who have experienced problems is to delete themselves off the map if it recognises them yet does not show their pin then put themselves on again.

I can invite people complete with the full URL details to an email address but cannot delete them if I cannot find them either on the map or the membership list. Hopefully we have solved Cynthia's problem by this method.

Strange! I never received an invite, but there is the XMTS map showing up on my profile again after I deleted it yesterday. I also am not showing up on the map itself. I'm assuming you have sent the invite, judging by your last post

I'm going to try from scratch again. I just don't understand why it seems to have issues with me like this (especially since it showed me on the map for a few weeks when I originally signed up). If it doesn't work this last time, that's okay... I'll hold off again and maybe try another time.

Edited to add: By the way, thanks for your help McClef! I seem to be showing up again at least from my computer (although I had to go through and add all my info and photos when I "joined" the map, which added my photo to my frappr profile a 2nd time). Maybe there're just some weird bugs and quirks with that site and some of us have more trouble than others. Who knows!

I sent the invite to the email address you PM'd Cynthia so it looks as if the problem lies with Frappr itself.

I just went in to see if I could find you on the map and am currently getting "image unavailable" messages!
