Almost anything is possible.
As a side note. The Industrial Model is no more. We are replacing it with a Box-Pleated Model.
Can you say Tartan Box Pleats with Pockets?
At today's Exchange Rate in US Dollars
$262.25 in any of our 35 stock fabrics w/ 2 Side Slash Pockets.
$335.42 In 12oz P/V w/ 2 Side Slash Pockets.
$413.36 in 13oz Wool w/ 2 Side Slash Pockets.
$533.42 in 16oz Wool w/ 2 Side Slash Pockets.
If my kilts are shipped within N. America there is seldom a Duty fee. It has only happened once. I refunded the duty cost to the customer.
Thank you very much! I will keep that in mine. Come June or July, I'll be back in the market. I need to pay off the loan I had to take out to get that wool Albannach tartan kilt from Rocky, though. I'm a fanatical Albannach fan, and the opportunity of having a kilt literally cut from the same cloth as theirs was too good to pass up.

Aye. An FK and an AK are not apples to apples.

I just sent that letter. I'll let you all know the answer is. And Wizard, I like your kilts a lot, but if I'm getting a contemporary kilt in tartan, I want it tolook like a contemporary kilt. Yours look too traditional for what I'm going for! BUT- they are indeed a great value for the money. I have been tossing around the idea of getting one of your industrial models. I have a USA Kilts kilt on order, and a Scotweb kilt, as well. (One wool Albannach and one Colorado tartan.) Once my kilt fund is replenished, I may be dropping you a line.

It's been a couple months now. Did you get a response yet?

I totally forgot!! I'm sorry. The answer was, I should go to USA Kilts. They won't even make me one of their sporrans from tartan. I wear dress MacLeod flashes with black hose and black AK. I thought a matching sporran would have looked great, too... but no luck. So Freedom Kilts will be getting a call from me in the no too distant future.

Good deal, Nighthawk; the Wizard knows his kilts.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I was wearing an AK earlier tonight until the weather turned damp.
They are what they are and I enjoy them for that.
I agree with the USAK recommendation for tartan.

The thing with that is, I have several USA Kilts. I specifically wanted an AK in tartan. If I wanted another USA Kilt... I would have gone that route! (And I will be going that route again within the year- I want an Isle of Skye from Rocky. I love his work.)
