    Wild at heart

Is your name something you came up with or a reference to the book Wild at Heart by John Eldridge?
I don't read much but I loved that book. It is a Christian writer that is a counselor and an outdoor enthusiast. He does a great job explaining what goes on in our male heads. I believe there are a lot of men on this site that would enjoy his ideas and view points on the boy inside each of us not to mention that no woman wanted to marry Mr Rogers but William Wallace!!

    Welcome from another kitled rookie

Well it's a name I came up with myself. The name really does a good job at describing who I am and how I think. The real world keeps me occupied, but in my thoughts and dreams, I'm away in the Rockies or Tetons trying to see whats on the other side of the next mountain. I don't think it actually the scottish way of life I love so much but the indomitable spirit that comes with living in windswept high lonely places eking out a meager living. I myself admire that spirit and I try to keep it alive in myself and instill it in my two sons. Alas the modern world seeks to do away with such thinking and replacing it with a " gotta have it now" mentality. But I do keep trying.
