That wouldn't be any problem for us. Let the planning continue, were almost there.

I'll check out Sebring's restaurants and let you know if we got any possible spots.

Sounds good from our end, lets keep this going and have a meet and greet soon. And a good dinner too.

Good Morning All! A Florida kilted gathering sounds great! I'm an emergency manager (Nassau County), and with the 2009 Hurricane Season coming on fast i'm busier than a one-legged man in an ****-kicking contest! However, I'm always up for a touch o' the cold, wet stuff with a group 'o kilties!

    I agree.

What's anyone say to the first or third weekend in May? Those are the only gaps in my son's soccer schedule before June ...

    But that's just me ...

Don't know how I missed this thread. I have to check with the misses since she is the official scheduler for weekends. If I don't make this one how will I find out about future get togethers? Luckily, my dad lives in Sebring. I would like to mention that Melbourne might be a good place to meet in the future. Melbourne has Meg O'Malley pub, big bar and good food and beautiful beaches if you decide to stay the weekend.

I believe the feeling was the Sebring was more "central" for all involved.

However, I do not know of a good place for us to gather in Sebring, and I was hoping someone else would know. And Melbourne is, I believe, a good substitute.

Given that we have a location suggested (Meg O'Malley) in Melbourne, does that sound good to all for the third weekend in May?
